After inking two full-floor leases, Pembroke and JLL have announced that the 400 Fairview in South Lake Union is now fully leased.
The 14-story, 349,000-square-foot building, home to Fairview Market Hall on the ground floor, is billed as a hub for technology firms. South Lake Union has the second lowest direct office vacancy in the Seattle area with just 7 percent of offices sitting empty, according to JLL.
Per a news release, the two leases account for a combined 52,000 square feet and include:
- Group14 Technologies, which manufactures and supplies advanced silicon battery materials. The new 26,000-square-foot lease consolidates spaces from around Seattle.
- Skanska, which is relocating from a smaller office in Seattle to 26,000 square feet. Skanska also was the developer and general contractor of 400 Fairview.
“We are focused on securing strong partnerships at 400 Fairview, and with Skanska and Group14 Technologies’ commitments, we are delighted that exceptional firms continue seeking out 400 Fairview as their place to come together to collaborate, connect and think creatively," said JLL Senior Managing Director Lisa Stewart. "These leases from industry leaders demonstrate what Seattle companies want: Thoughtfully amenitized places for their people to do their best work."
Stewart and Jim Allison of JLL represented Pembroke, while Skanska was represented by Matt Walters, Michael Dash, Michael Gordon and Joseph Cabrera of CBRE and Group14 was represented by David Rothrock, Doug Barrett and Matt Brennan of Meriwether Advisors.
