The Lock Vista Apartments, a large apartment located at 3025 NW Market Street in the Ballard neighborhood, has sold for $43.7 million, Cushman & Wakefield announced last week.
The property, built in the 1950s, consists of 192 residential units, and has recently undergone a $15-million renovation. The proeprty includes a mix of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom homes, as well as a gym, an outdoor pool, laundry facilities, a community garden, and parking for 145 vehicles.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Dan Chhan, Tim McKay, Matt Kemper, Jacob Odegard, Dylan Roeter and Byron Rosen brokered the sale, while Cushman & Wakefield’s David Karson and Chris Moyer, arranged a $30,000,000 loan with Alex Basile of Greystone.
My Ballard reports that the sellers are an entity affiliated with the Wyckoff family, which acquired the property in 2004 for less than $18 million.
GT Capital and Freestone Capital Management were the buyers. The property is their second joint acquisition, following the landmark Smith Tower last year.
