Trammell Crow Company subsidiary High Street Residential has commenced work on a new multifamily residential development near the East Main Link light rail stop in Bellevue.
Verstant Bellevue, which is being developed in partnership with PGIM, will rise from a 1.7-acre site at 11040 Main Street, replacing a two-story office building. Plans call for the construction of six- and eight-story building featuring 351 studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom units. A total of 71 apartments would be designated affordable units.
“Bellevue continues to stand out as one of the most dynamic and desirable places to live in the Pacific Northwest, and this neighborhood represents the best of what the city has to offer,” said High Street Residential principal Alan Cantlin in a news release. “With major employers like Amazon just a short walk away, and retail and dining options in Old Bellevue down the street, this location already provides an incredible foundation for a vibrant residential community."
Weber Thompson is designing the project, named Versant Bellevue, which will include a courtyard, a rooftop terrace, a fitness center, and a lounge room among other amenities.
Other members of the project team include contractor Sierra Construction, Fora Landscape Architects, and engineering firm Coughlin Porter Lundeen.
Completion is expected in the third quarter of 2028.
