A groundbreaking ceremony earlier this month marked the start of work on a new senior living campus in Issaquah.

A joint venture between PMB and The Springs Living, the project will be known as the The Springs Living at Issaquah Highlands. Plans call for a five-story development containing 225 homes on a site adjacent to Swedish Issaquah Medical Center.

The nearly 330,000-square-foot project, which is the first in the Seattle area for The Springs Living, will include 114 independent living units, 84 assisted living residences, and 27 memory care apartments.

Completion is expected in late 2028.

Other members of the project team include Exxel Pacific, which is serving as general contractor, with Mackenzie and GBD Architects leading design. Harrison Street Asset Management, Huntington National Bank, BOK, MVB, First National Bank Alaska, and Northwest Bank are financing partners.
