Trammell Crow Company subsidiary High Street Residential has unveiled plans with MetLife Investment Management for a new multifamily residential development in Bellevue.

The project, which would be located at 1200 116th Ave. NE, calls for the construction of an eight-story building featuring 214 residential units - including 43 affordable units. The project would rise a short walk north of Sound Transit's Wilburton Station and across the street from Overlake Hospital.

“This project reflects our continued confidence in Bellevue as a dynamic and resilient multifamily market,” said High Street Residential principal Alan Cantlin in a news release. “Partnering with MetLife Investment Management allows us to thoughtfully advance the design of a transit-oriented community that prioritizes sustainability, accessibility, and long-term value while meeting the evolving housing needs of the region."

Weber Thompson is designing the project, which will include an outdoor courtyard, a rooftop terrace, a fitness center, coworking space, and a lounge, among other common amenities.

Construction is set to kick off in the third quarter of 2027 and be completed by the third quarter of 2029.

Elsewhere in Bellevue, High Street Residential recently broke ground on a larger multifamily residential building near the East Main Link station.
