As reported in The Registry, Seattle’s Northwest Design Review Board approved the design for Greenbank Holdings' 228-unit apartment building at 907 NW Market Street. The building will be five stories high, with a roof deck, and contain 197 bicycle stalls, with no vehicle parking.
The site is 26,495 square feet, and composed of five underlying parcels that are currently single-family homes.
The project aims to extend the multifamily density from further west along Market Street. Artwork and murals are planned for the facade near the two building entries on NW Market Street. Street trees along NW Market Street will be retained. Two exceptional trees on site will be removed and replaced with new trees.
Skidmore Janette is the architect, Karen Kiest is the landscape architect.
